How important is God’s Word (Psalm 138)?
I will worship toward Your holy temple,
And praise Your name
For Your lovingkindness and Your truth;
For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.
Note the last half of the above verse. It tells us that His Word is Truth and is more important or made higher than His own Name or Reputation. This should tell us to take all of His Word as Truth without compromise – so we should never change it including Genesis 1 to 11! His Word endures for ever!
